STARFIRE TALENT

Published on April 20th, 2017 by Chance in Now Auditioning New Talent,

STARFIRE TALENT started in 2016 as a production company with elite individuals specializing in production and development of films, scripts, movies, music, acting, workshops, websites, graphics and more. We started out with just an idea that blossomed into a wide world of creations and ambitions that would propel up further into producing movies. What began as that idea progressed into school and studies, really getting down the process in which it takes to produce a full-length feature film independently.

Now, we are seeking more talented people to join our team and be a part of something great. Have you applied to our agency? Check out the post to apply to join our team!

At Starfire Talent, we have so much talent that we couldn’t possibly handle all of these projects by ourselves! We are writing scripts for several awesome movies that a lot of people are really excited about already, and we can’t wait to start filming, but we absolutely cannot do it without your help!

That’s why we are building a team of actors, actresses, film majors, equipment handlers, make-up artists, and prop builders. We want the team to have a core of talent to work with on each and every film we make! We really want to be able to finish these films!

If you haven’t already, you should signup to join the Starfire Talent team! We are looking for the best of the best that are ready to work! Are you ready to join? Do you think you have what it takes to be a part of a group that works nonstop on films in order to get them done? We want to know that we can depend on your talent to shine through all of the time and be a part of something major. We are an independent entertainment film company who produces multimedia. We are filming movies soon, so you better act now!

Chance was interviewed about the latest in the Starfire Talent projects

Can you name one of your films you're working on?

Well, I have 3 that I have plans of pre-production for. The first is a movie we're calling Hustle Hard right now, the name might change. It's a movie about pool hall hustlers and how one guy gets hustled.

What sort of person is going to love this show?

Anyone who likes action, drama, and most of all comedy!

What’s challenging about bringing this script to life?

Well, we're still in the preproduction phase and we're writing the script as we speak. My cousin Sean Bolton asked me to help him with a film school project and we're actually going for a feature film.

Why did you want to be involved in this production?

Because, I've always wanted to be a part of something like this, something bigger than just me. When my cousin asked me, how could I resist?

Who should not come see this show?

You should probably not let your kids see this film. Ha!

What will the audience be thinking about in the car as they drive home after this show?

They'll be remembering the character Joey, for sure! A good friend of ours James Barber plays the bad guy, you're gonna love to hate him, he's amazing! I can't wait to start filming him.

How is James bringing something new to this story?

He's brought a lot of fresh people to the cast and team, I really couldn't imagine this film without him.

What’s going to surprise people about this show?

This movie is going to take you on a ride. From start to finish, it just doesn't let up at all. It's fast paced and it has a great story to tell about love and shooting pool.

Call someone out by name: who must come see this production?

Daymond John, he absolutely has to come to this premier! He's gonna fall in love with the characters and the hard hitting storyline that spreads a good message and has a feel good plot to it about a comeback and victory!

Who has the best costume?

Well, probably Kristina Plisko, as far as we know so far she's playing a nurse... and you know how us guys get around nurses in uniform! We aren't sure if she'll be casted, but we're considering her.

Who in the show is most like their character?

That would probably be every one of the people we've chosen for this film so far, but if Sean had his pick, it would be the local drunk. He told me that he said for him to just be himself while filming and it'll be perfect. I am excited to start filming!

Who’s the least?

Oh, that's a good one. Probably Sean himself, he's not comfortable in front of the camera, but he can follow directions very well. When we were growing up, I used to choreograph dances and skits at the age of 11.  I used to give Sean and his sister Sabrina acting classes when we were all young. Good times.

Without giving anything away, what’s your favorite line of dialogue?

"So, about that breakfast!"

Besides yourself, which actor in this production is going to blow people away?

I really can't say at the moment, I can't give away too many details, but we're hoping to get a lot out of the one who's playing the bad guy.

If you could play any character on this show, who would it be?

It would be the hardened, but lovable Nate. The guy goes through a lot, but comes out a champ at the end, but who knows what character I will end up playing by the time we finish the script and start filming! I might play a couple! (UPDATE: I was recently casted as Nate)

What makes a good scene partner?

Someone who likes to prep with me before we start acting.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

Mommy, I wanna be an astronaut! Ha ha, just kidding. I just want to be happy.

If someone was going to make your life into a movie, who would play you?

Oh my God, I don't know! People say I look like Seth Green and Christian Slater. What do you think?

When did you first discover your talent at acting?

I first started acting in Jr. High and it just went from there. I took public speaking classes back then too. I also took acting classes and public speaking conferences recently too.

Besides this one, what’s your favorite show/movie?

My most favorite show is Mr. Pickles! The dog is just absolutely insane! My most favorite movie is The Stoned Age, it's so funny!

Who do you look up to (as an actor/director/etc.)?

I look up to Leonardo DiCaprio the most, he's excellent in everything he does! I cried during Titanic and everything! What's eating Gilbert Grape? Wolf Of WallStreet. All those movies!

What’s your perfect Sunday afternoon look like?

Relaxing and watching comedy shows! Having a good home cooked meal!

When you have a five-minute break during rehearsal, what do you spend that time doing?

Drinking water and eating snacks!

Who’s the funniest person in the cast in real life?

That would definitely be me!

What do you do when you’re not filming or scriptwriting?

I'm usually playing video games, listening to music, making music, or watching tv!

If you had a magic wand, what show would you do next?

I would be on the set of Black-ish, for sure!

What’s the last thing you do before you step out on stage / the curtain goes up?

I take a deep breath, pray to God, and give it my best shot!
